Hurricane Beryl Power Outage July 8, 2024 at 1:00 P.M.

MidSouth Electric Cooperative – Navasota, TX

At this time, MidSouth has over 29,000 meters without power. Crews have been mobilized to begin damage assessment, working from the southern portion of the territory northward.

This restoration effort is expected to be a multi-day event. Providing restoration times following a storm of this magnitude is not possible. Members without power are encouraged to make alternative arrangements if requiring electricity for medical necessity.

As always, your safety and the safety of our employees is our first concern. If you plan to use a generator, please do not tie into your electric panel or your home wiring, as this may cause electrical back-feeding and pose extreme risk to our linemen.

MidSouth will work as swiftly as possible until every member has restored power.
