Renewal Deadline for Critical Care Members

MidSouth Electric Co-op members who depend on electronically powered medical equipment can be classified as a “critical care” member. MidSouth EC requires that a signed form from your doctor be submitted prior to your inclusion in this classification. Members also must renew and update their information annually to remain a part of this program. With 2020 well underway, it’s time to renew and update your information for the current service year. MidSouth EC requires that members submit a signed notice from your doctor stating your candidacy for the critical care program. It is your responsibility to adhere to the requirements. If you do not supply MidSouth EC with updated information, you will be removed from the program until a new notification is received. Critical care designations help ensure that you receive advance notice of planned outages, when possible. It does not mean MidSouth EC will be able to restore your power any faster in the event of weather-related or other power outages. Critical care designation also does not excuse or prevent delinquent accounts from disconnection of service. The member service department is available to assist with any bill payment difficulties.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call us at (936) 825-5100 to speak with one of our member service representatives.
