Mid-South Synergy Implements Mandatory Water Use Restriction for Crown Ranch Water System
Mid-South Synergy Water Resources has activated Stage IV of our Water Conservation Drought Contingency Plan. Due to an emergency water well failure, Mid-South Synergy Water Resources is implementing a mandatory water use restriction affecting all water members within our system effective immediately. This plan calls for the following mandatory restrictions:
All outdoor use of water is prohibited
Irrigation of landscaped areas is absolutely prohibited
Use of water to wash any motor vehicle, motorbike, boat, trailer, airplane, or other vehicle is absolutely prohibited
System pressure and capacity for potable home use will not be compromised if all Mid-South Synergy members meet and adhere to the mandatory restriction requests.
Stage IV restrictions will remain active until the affected water can be fully repaired.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. If you have any questions, please contact our member services representatives by calling 936-825-5100 or by emailing: memberservices@midsouthsynergy.com.
Public Notice to Boil Water
Due to failure of the Crown Ranch water well and subsequent loss of water pressure, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has required our water system Crown Ranch Water System (PWS ID No. 1700781) to notify customers of the need to boil their water prior to consumption.
To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, and making ice should be boiled and cooled prior to use. The water should be brought to a vigorous, rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes. In lieu of boiling, you may purchase bottled water or obtain water from some other suitable source.
When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, the water system officials will notify you that the water is safe for consumption. Instructions to discontinue boiling will be issued in the same manner as this notice.
If you have questions concerning this matter, you may contact Mid-South Water Resources at 936-825-5100.
