Members have reported someone “posing” as Mid-South Synergy requesting immediate payment on their account by credit card or they would be disconnected. We WILL NOT call you to initiate a payment on the disconnect. You will receive an automated call if you power is subject to disconnect, but we require that the member call us to make a payment.
If you are concerned, make the employee verify their name and position. If the conversation still seems questionable, please hang up and call us at 936-825-5100 to verify the balance on your account before making any payment.
We value the privacy and protection of our members and will do our best to make sure our members are prepared if/when they are targeted by scams. Please share with your neighbors and friends.
