SINCE 1940, MIDSOUTH ELECTRIC CO-OP HAS BEEN LOOKING FOR ways to improve the quality of life of our members and local communities. In 2000, MidSouth dedicated its efforts to the rapid expansion of its products and services to serve its fastgrowing membership. Since we were providing more than just electricity, the board of directors decided to give the co-op a name that reflected the expanded services—hence the name change to Mid-South Synergy.

Fast forward 20 years, and our mission remains the same. With exponential growth and exciting opportunities on the horizon, it is time to usher in a new decade and a new look while paying homage to our roots. Now, this won’t be a quick process as we will be making the transition over time. But we are excited for the future and what is in store for MidSouth Electric Co-op and our members. Stay tuned!
